Tangled Up in Blue

Hehe, because I'm a fan of Arrested Development (and I'm excited that we get 10 NEW episodes next year) I considered calling this post, "I just Blue myself."  But, I thought as a post title without explanation that might be somewhat inappropriate.  So I'll just discuss it at length here. =)

I went with Robert Zimmerman AKA Bob Dylan for the post title. 

Either are appropriate though, because today I have for you an amazing blue.




Isn't that a gorgeous colour?  I just love it.  It's Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Pacific Blue. 2 coats.  It's even more vibrant in person.


I did put some nail art on this but you have to wait until May to see it as I'm saving it for my 31 Days of Nail Art challenge. =)

What do you think of the colour?

      I'm loving blue a lot lately too. =)

      I signed myself up for a nail art challenge about a month ago. It is 31 days of nail art following a pre-set list of challenges. I know there is no way I'll keep up so I'm doing as many of the challenges early as I can.

      The only reason that I haven't done challenges yet is because there are days where there just aren't time for doing my nails, so I'd have to chose the same solution as you're doing now. :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you're coming up with, because I really like your take on nail art.

      The first challenge I did was last month and although I tried to keep up, I kept falling behind. Planning ahead like this is really the only way I can hope to keep up. I tend not to have time to do my nails on work nights.

      You should sign up for a challenge if you see someone asking for participants with plenty of lead time. It will be lots of fun! =)

      That's a great idea to plan ahead, really. I'll do that for sure.

      I even considered to make my own little challenge, like, a twice a week thing, but also trying to pick some stuff that *would* be a challenge. I couldn't draw if my life depended on it, which makes nail art made by hand (so to speak, lol) hard for me. I keep trying though, but I never expect to be in the good league.

      And yes - you do definitely make nail art that I enjoy!! :)

      All ten new episodes will be released simultaneously on Netflix sometime next year.

    Just last night, my husband said that we should rewatch Arrested Development. Great show! Do you know if the new episodes are going to be the Netflix exclusive that was talked about before? The polish is fabulous. I love a good vivid blue. I'm wearing a bit of Revlon Royal at the moment and it is a standout blue too.

    My husband was just saying last night that we should rewatch AD. Do you know if the new episodes will be the Netflix exclusive that was discussed a while back? The blue polish is great. I'm loving vivid blues lately. I have a bit of Revlon Royal on right now. . . BTW, I apologize if this is a repeat comment; my comments have gotten lost in cyberspace an awful lot lately.

      Hi Alexis! Yes, it is going to be a Netflix exclusive. I ust read an article about it on EW.com this week. Netflix I don't think gave the release date but they did confirm they will be releasing all 10 episodes at once.

      I just bought Revlon Royal this past weekend but I haven't tried it yet. It looks fab though!

    Gorgeous blue. It makes a statement on its own, no need for any embellishments. I wonder how it compares to Revlon Royal. Great swatch. New follower here =)

      Re: Revlon Royal - this is slightly lighter and because it's a creme, much more opaque. 2 coats cover very smoothly and completely. The jelly of Royal makes it seem darker.
