An Orange Glow

Hi Everyone!

It's been a couple days.  Sorry!  I was enjoying wearing my parrots and I don't have a backlog of swatches.

Today I've got some neon nails with simple nail art.





Photos just don't do the brightness justice.  Indoors it is bright.  Outdoors, it is BRIGHT.  Even on a pretty blah day.  I picked this polish up at claire's.  I couldn't resist.  It's that bright plus it GLOWS in the dark! Yay.  And here's the gimmick that got me...there's a light in the cap you turn on to 'charge' the polish.  This polish doesn't seem to have a name but it came in this neon orange and a bright borderline neon purple (which I also bought.)

The nail art on top is just 3 descending size dots arcing clockwise at both top and bottom.

Also, tomorrow is my Birthday and I've already gotten one awesome polish related gift (Thanks Marian!)  So, I'll have some great stuff to show you over the weekend.

What do you guys think of neon nails?  I'm always a little shocked by the intensity of the colour but I kinda love it! =)

    I love that design! I've been trying to avoid going to the mall, but I'll have to make a Claire's run soon. Happy Birthday!

      Thanks Sabrina! I did this mall run almost two weeks ago and I'm trying to avoid it now too. Sometimes the temptation is just too much though! =)

    I love neon colours on nails! I've never seen a neon colour in this shade though, but it looks really good on you.
    I'm not sure I understand the thing about charging the polish with light, but.. oh well... :)

      Thank You!! I love it too. The charging is the glow in the dark aspect. It needs to absorb light before it can glow. The polish doesn't really need to have a light in it as it can just absorb daylight but it was a cute gimmick and I liked it. I'm a sucker! =)

    Happy birthday!!!

    I love really bright polishes. Some of the first polishes I ever bought were a blinding orange and a neon green. I still love them!!

      These were really so much brighter than they appear here too. I LOVED them in the sunlight. I should have photographed them under a blacklight!!

    Happy Birthday Amanda! The nails look fantastic as usual... I LOVE NEONS and this orange is awesome. I'm going to Claire's tomorrow hopefully this beauty will be there when I get my magnetics!

      Hi Casandra! Thank You! I hope you can find it. It was so so bright in some light, it rocked.

      I still have to swatch your gorgeous polish but the weather has been so blah here lately and I need some outdoot pics to do it justice. It is so amazing, it deserves to be photographed to its best advantage! =)
